Responsibilities

The Animal Control Officer’s principle duty is to protect animals from neglect and abuse, to preserve the peace, and to promote the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of the city by enforcing the laws and regulations mandated by the State of Oklahoma and Oklahoma Animal Control Association. Animals are domesticated Animals only. This does not include Wildlife.
