Program Details
The Bixby Police and Fire Department teams up with Safe Kids Tulsa, along with other member agencies, to offer free car seat checks for all caregivers. These checks are designed to ensure a car seat is installed properly before a child rides in the seat. It is recommended that new parents have their car seat installed and inspected by the 7th month of pregnancy.
A monthly check station is usually at Bixby Fire Station 2 on the Fourth Thursday of almost every month. You are also welcome to come by either Fire Station or Police Department for Assistance on any day but please call ahead at 918-366-8294 to make sure their is a Certified Technician on Duty.
